The Proposal

This year I have been struggling with my regular level Algebra 1 class because I have quite a few honors-level students and low-level students, all of whom can not change levels due to already large class sizes. Thus, the pace of my class has changed drastically and I feel that I am not meeting the needs of all my students.

My goals in this project are to:
  • differentiate my formative assessments in order to cater to my various levels of ability
  • assess chapter objectives through various types of questions and projects
  • develop a pre-assessment for each chapter in order to better understand my students strengths and difficulties
